In 2008 Klaas Kloosterboer introduced for the first time curtains in his works in the exhibition ‘Partij – Wederpartij’. A theatrical setting of his white and black sprayed fabric paintings gave an exceptional movement to the gallery space, and in fact to his oeuvre. He later used this idea in the gigantic rotating installation in the Submarine Wharf / Museum Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam in 2009.
For his show in Galerie van Gelder an invitation card was designed by the artist of which he has made a card board box (see multiple above) as part of his contribution to the group exhibition ‘After Gerolama Cardano’s suspension’ at Galerie van Gelder in Amsterdam.
