In 1990 gallerist Kees van Gelder asked Olivier Mosset if he could think of a multiple. He proposed to make use of George Maciunas edition from the sixties: Flux Dots by Olivier Mosset Total Art Nice. He liked the idea to shuffle up every time the content of one of the boxes filled with red confetti – and owned by the gallerist – before a picture would be made for the edition. It would be the beginning of a series of works based from this box of which only very few are around.
