The three felt pen stripes on the right side of the sticker correspond to three stripes on the backside of a wooden frame holding a pastel drawing. It was meant to indicate that the data on this sticker relates to that specific drawing. It functioned as a kind of seal for the black and white drawing (84,5 x 98 cm) with a title ‘Uit de Serie Het Oog’ dated 1988.
