On side A “John & Yoko” is a recording made on 22 and 27 April 1969 and is of Lennon and Ono calling out each other’s names, through a range of volume, tempos, and emotions, this all over the sound of their heartbeats. Comparable to the outcome of performances made by Ulay and Abramovic who put the emphasis in their works on physical endurance.
